Global Movie Day were established on February 8th 2020 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (famously known as The Academy Awards). This day is dedicated for film fans around the world to celebrate and appreciate the essential of movies.
Global Movie Day is held on the second Saturday of February every year, and this year it will be on Saturday 12th 2022. By celebrating Global Movie Day, we’re celebrating the power that movies have to reach, connect and inspire people around the world.
